Kid's lesson packages and programs

Kids have great instincts for learning and tend to pick up skiing and riding faster than adults. Our approach is to encourage a love of sport while instilling safe ski and ride habits.

How to register
Book in advance to ensure your space by downloading the registration form and faxing your completed application to 819-827-3893 orby visiting us a the Customer Service desk.

Get credit for your fit kids
Our 5-day and 9-week programs are eligible for the child fitness tax credit program.
Make sure to get copies of your registration forms when you sign up.

PRIVATE LESSONS
Because of the optimum instructor/student ratio, kids learn to ski better faster.

1 hour lesson:

BEGINNER SPECIAL: SKIERS/SNOWBOARDERS – 2 hour program
This 2 hour session teaches the newcomer basic skiing skills including safe handling of equipment, stop techniques, speed control, balance and basic turns. Group session. Limit of one session per person, for ages 8 and up. Lesson includes lift pass and rentals for the afternoon.

Class Time: Saturdays or Sundays at 1:30 p.m.

9 Week Programs

Take your lesson, then take the week to practice. These programs are a great way to learn over the entire winter. 2 hour lessons over 9 consecutive weeks.

Start Dates: Weekend programs start January 7 or 8.

4-6 YEARS: CLUB SKI-WEE
Kids between the ages of 4 and 6 develop a natural balanced stance on their skis intuitively. The Ski Wee program includes nine 2-hour classes that teach the basics of skiing in a fun and safe way through games and skill developing play.

5 - 6 YEARS: PRE-NANCY GREENE SKI
The Pre Nancy Green Ski program is an entry level program for children aged 5 to 6 years old. It is designed to prepare them physically and emotionally for the Nancy Green Racing Program. The program emphasis is on creating a love and respect for the sport while developing the skills required to become a competent skier.

The Pre-Nancy Green program Schedule follows the Nancy Green Program offered with the Club de Ski Camp Fortune Ski Club.

7-17 YEARS: ALL MOUNTAIN SKI AND RIDE
Skiers and riders who register in this program explore everything Camp Fortune has to offer including bumps, snow park, glades and tricks (360°s and switch). All levels will be exposed to the appropriate challenges in order to keep it exciting, fun and safe.

Class Time: Saturdays or Sundays at 10:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m.

7-14 YEARS: ALL-MOUNTAIN “PERFORMANCE” - 5 day camp & 10 week program
For advanced and intermediate skiers or snowboarders wanting exposure to gate training, snow park and glades. Skiers will learn various skills in this program. The coaches and instructors will offer students an exceptional learning experience.

Start Dates: Dec. 26 and on the 10 consecutive Saturdays following
Class Time: 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-3:00 p.m.
